ASI Show Orlando News

Well, it’s that time of year when myself and several of our sales associates go to our big industry tradeshow where we learn about the newest and coolest promotional products in the market. We are on the way to Orlando, FL and we will be in full tradeshow and educational mode early Monday morning. We sit through lots of educational courses to learn how to serve our customers better. I always look forward the knowledge that we bring back from the education sessions and meeting with thousands of our vendors who are displaying samples of some great products. It is through these type of shows that keep Perfect Imprints abreast of the latest trends in marketing and the entire promotional products industry. We understand the importance of helping our clients stay not just one step ahead but many steps ahead of their competitors. Give us a call later in the week and find out about some of the cool new products we have to offer.

How To Get Tradeshow Visitors To Your Booth

So I recently attended one of my many industry tradeshows and out of the 1000 or so booths, I noticed some of them stayed full with attendees while others stayed bare. It just so happened that the busy booths were the very ones that I was headed toward. Why? Not because they were busy. Not because of their name. It was because I was solicited by them weeks before the tradeshow. Some of the exhibitors enticed me with a free gift if I visit their booth while others offered a money saving coupon for visiting. There were several that enticed me simply with the products they had to offer. But without that postcard or email or phone call before the tradeshow, I would have likely never been introduced to those companies. With large scale tradeshows, 95% of the people don’t visit every booth. It’s just not practical. Now I know there are those who I will call “scoopers” who go from booth to booth and get as much free stuff as possible. What does the 90 year old man in the motorized cart need 7 different types of pom poms anyway? I don’t know but it’s free so he’s going to take it. Anyway, it looks like I got sidetracked, so back to the matter at hand. Many tradeshow attendees have some sort of plan ahead of time by looking at the exhibitor layout so they know the booths they will visit. In most cases, exhibitors can get a list of registered attendees before the event and call, email, or mail some sort of marketing piece to them so you can be part of their plan. Participating in a tradeshow is much more than just having an awesome booth. You must inform your potential new clients about your booth ahead of time and your tradeshow booth will be much more successful.

Custom Tablecloths for Your Next Tradeshow or Event

Does your company or organization have events with tables?  If so, do you have custom tablecloths with your corporate logo printed on it?  These custom table cloths promote a professional appearance not only to your employees but also to your clients and potential clients.  We all know how important first impressions are in business, so make sure you are doing everything you can to improve your corporate appearance.  Logo tablecloths are reusable and washable so you can use them over and over again.  They act as a billboard displaying your logo and giving you even more marketing exposure.  So for your next trade show or convention, not only do you have to get your trade show giveaways, but also your custom table covers.

Make Your Tradeshow Display More Successful

Have you had mediocre results with your tradeshow booths in the past?  Have you spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on your tradeshow display with little to no return on your investment?  Research has shown that promotional products increase your tradeshow traffic to your display and that promotional products of great value generate more sales leads than products of lower value.  In plain English please…If you give someone a $0.41 cheap pen, they probably won’t remember you.  If you give them something of value such a personalized USB flash drive, then not only would that tradeshow attendee remember you, but they would be more likely to do business with you.  In addition, the flash drive would be used over and over again yielding repeated advertising for your company.  Here are a few statistics:

Tradeshow Promotional Items

• 72% of tradeshow attendees who received a promotional product emembered the name of the
company that gave them the product.
• 76% of attendees had a favorable attitude toward the company that gave them the product.
• Including a promotional product with a pre-show mailing increases the likelihood of an attendee
stopping by the booth.
• As a rule, promotional products of greater value generate more sales leads han products of lower
value.

If you are able to get the names and addresses of the show attendees, be sure and send them a promotional product and tempt them to visit your booth to receive a FREE gift.  When they get to your booth, you can give them a promotional item of value so they will remember you increasing your chances of closing a sale.
